Yes, any Raytech instrument with a color touch screen can be controlled with a USB mouse. If you prefer to use a mouse, simply plug in your mouse to one of the USB ports on your instrument and your mouse is ready to use. This feature works with both wired and wireless mice, however, if you are using an older model mouse, you may have to turn on this feature on the General Setup Screen (Cursor).
Yes, it is possible to change the contrast on the screens of Raytech instruments with LCD screens, such as the TR-1, TR-1P, Micro Junior 2, and MC2.
If you have an LCD screen instrument: Turn on the instrument. Immediately, and before the initial screen shows, turn the rotary knob left and right. You will see a contrast scale showing the contrast level. Change the contrast by turning the knob left and right.
If you have a color touch screen: Each color can be adjusted for brightness. Also, for use in strong sunlight, glare can be reduced by turning on the Black & White option. To change color contrast, from the Main Screen, go to Setup. From the Setup screen, go to the General Tab where the Color button is located. From Color, you can adjust each color for the Panel, Header, and Text. The Default is Yellow, Blue, White, but changing to the Black & White option is also available.
